Taylor Embree is a former professional American football player who played as a wide receiver in the NFL. He was born on September 22, 1989, in Englewood, Colorado. Embree played college football at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 2007 to 2011.
After going undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft, Embree signed with the NFL's San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent. He also spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Oakland Raiders during his NFL career. Embree did not have much playing time in the NFL, recording only a few catches and playing mainly on special teams.
After retiring from professional football, Taylor Embree transitioned into coaching. He has coached at various levels, including at the University of Colorado and as an offensive assistant with the San Francisco 49ers. Embree comes from a football family, as his father Jon Embree is also a former NFL player and coach.
